DOOR INSTALLATIONS

To look at both doors you wouldn't know that one was installed improperly. However the door on the left does not have a sill pan, has no flashing tape on the opening, no insulation, and and no caulking.

The result: Drafts, water leaking under the door, and bugs coming in under and around the door just to name a few.

It may look easy to pop in a new door, but if it's not done correctly you'll end up with many problems and need to replace it prematurely, which is a hassle no one wants.

WINDOW INSTALLATIONS

The window on the left is just as new as the window on the right, however the one on the left has no caulking, no insulation, and the flashing tape was improperly installed and there is no flashing tape on the window opening. In addition there is no framing under the window.

Unfortunately some contractors cut corners on things you will never see. This effects the quality of the window as well as the longevity.
